Minor Injuries Unit - Beccles Hospital

The Beccles and District War Memorial Hospital Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) is run by experienced nurses who can treat minor injuries. The MIU is open evey day from 8am to 8pm. It’s on the community hospital site in St Mary’s Road, Beccles, NR34 9NQ. You can phone 01502 719800 .

The MIU can deal with:

  • SprainsNurse treats patient at Beccles MIU 
  • Strains
  • Minor cuts
  • Scalds
  • Minor burns
  • Foreign bodies in the eyes, nose or ears
  • Bites and stings with no associated complications or acute reactions

Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff, for users of this service. The facilities are supported by local GPs and the out of hours GP service.
